Pediatric Tactical Emergency Casualty Care has been designed for emergency medical responders in the civilian mass casualty incident environment including teachers, professional and volunteer firefighters, first responders, EMTs, AEMTs, paramedics, nurses, doctors, and medically trained security and law enforcement officers.
The guidelines and principles in P-TECC coordinate civilian medical response with law enforcement tactics when responding to hostile mass casualty incidents in the civilian setting with pediatric victims.
