Description

Copenhagen is the capital of Denmark and is a friendly old girl of a town. Located on the Øresund strait, the city is close to Sweden and offers good shopping, culture and nightlife. Copenhagen acts as a link between mainland Europe and Scandinavia and has impressive new buildings, funky clubs and the famous theme park, Tivoli Gardens.  Hamburg is Germany’s second and the European Union’s seventh largest city. Located on the River Elbe, one hundred kilometres from the North Sea, Hamburg is known as the “Gateway to the World.” It is the second largest port city in Europe and has been known for its maritime nature since the medieval period. Regarded as one of the most affluent cities in the world, Hamburg with its 1.8 million inhabitants is a major media and industrial hub.
