Seven Fires

Ian Stewart believed that his academic days were long behind him. It had been many years since he had thought about graduate school back in Manitoba or the Anthropology research that he had done there. For decades he had lived in North Vancouver in British Columbia and his life consisted of running a fishing tackle store and getting in as many days fishing as he could. Then the phone rang and a voice from the past brought back some memories of an incident he had long forgotten. An old professor back in Manitoba needed his help and Ian flew to Winnipeg to do what he could. He became tangled in a mystery that intertwined Anishinabe (Ojibwe) sorcery, high tech espionage, multiple deaths and the potential to rewrite history.
