Description

This is part two of the Amityville horror saga and takes us much further into what happened to Ed and Lorraine Warren when they visited the Amityville home.  In part one we learned about the tragedy of this terrible house and the families, particularly George and Kathy Lutz, who fled the home due to its dark and demonic characteristics. Ed and Lorraine took a team of cameramen, psychics, and scientists into the home with them to explore and document the evil from within.

The one thing that the Warrens are most adamant about is the evil of this home. They believe it is full of demonic spirits that manipulate, lie to, and physically affect the people in the home in order to feed off of their fears and emotions. Kathy and George Lutz, before fleeing the home, had many strange and terrifying experiences in this home including levitations, slime, and strange footsteps and marching. Ed and Lorraine Warren also had their fair share of frightening experiences in this home and had to rely on their faith to give them strength and reassurance as they made contact with the spirits within this home.

Unfortunately, the camera crew and fellow psychics were not as lucky. Several members of the crew suffered heart palpitations and could not keep their emotions and fears under control while in the home. One of the scientists there, the director of the Psychic Research Institute in Hampton, Connecticut, Mary Pascorella, was so affected that she fled the house and vowed never to return to that house or any house like it and changed her field of study altogether. The haunting of that house even followed Ed and Lorraine home and, for many years, they felt the darkness they had experienced. This home, and the evil attracted to the tragedies that took place are described as being a 12 on a scale of 1 to 10. Ed and Lorraine felt much of the energy and experiences were indescribable.

Today, George and Kathy Lutz are no longer married and their children are grown, but the haunted images of what happened to them in this home have left them forever changed.
