Captain Ramona had always dreamed of leading one of the space colony missions. Even if it would take generations to reach their goal she fantasised about having her own ship and crew, leading them through the dangers of deep space and dedicating her life to advancing humanity's multi-planetary goals...
There was one major problem though, her crew weren't having enough kids to keep their numbers up. If things didn't change soon there would be no-one left by the time they reached their assigned planet. After the Ship AI explained the issue once again she is desperate enough to refer to the issue as an 'emergency'. Unknowingly authorising the ship to take 'extreme' measures to correct the problem.
With the Ship capable of 'training' the crew in emergency situations it fully makes use of its new authority to discover and resolve the reasons behind the lack of pregnancies. After a throwaway comment from one crewmember about not being a 'breeding cow' it has discovered a solution.
With the crew being slowly brainwashed and their new task lists involving 'breeding activities' it won't be long before the 'emergency' is resolved. Unless Captain Ramona can somehow reverse everything once she discovers what the Ship's been up to.
With her desire to lead a successfull mission weighing on her mind though will she actually want to stop things? Or will she embrace the new situation if it means saving the mission?
