The Last Camel

Phoum (rhymes with room) was always the last camel. He followed along at the end of the tail end of the caravan, muttering and grumbling about everything. The truth was that Phoum was a pretty hard camel to get along with.
     Then one day, out in the middle of the vast desert, something happened that touched on the past and changed the future, and made a new camel of him.
