Description

In a world clearly dominated by men, Lise Meitner trained, researched tirelessly and managed to change the history of a branch of science in which she was always discriminated against for being a woman. In addition, she suffered persecution by the Nazis in Germany for being Jewish. In spite of all the adversities, she managed to be a great protagonist in the field of physics and her research initiated the atomic era. She contributed so much to science that she undoubtedly deserved the Nobel Prize. However, it was never awarded.
