A Woman of the Benni-Fuhara

After inciting rebellion against French rule in Algeria, a fugitive tribal leader and his fiercely proud wife seek refuge in an abandoned building in Algiers. When French soldiers storm their hideout, the couple face capture and the death sentence hanging over the husband's head. The wife must make an agonizing decision to save her tribe and unborn child, pitting her against a past lover serving her ancestral enemies.
