Shiva is the Truth. Siva is God. Shiva is the Trinity – Creator-Sustainer-Destroyer. Shiva is the consort of Parvati. Shiva is the Guru. In this beautiful hymn, Vedasara Shiva Stotram, Shri Shankaracharya sings Shiva’s glories as the very essence of the scriptures, the formless Truth, and as God in His various forms like the Trinity, consort of Parvati and Guru.
