The first half of this ostensible geography treatise combines humorous stream-of-consciousness observations on weather, topography, and Prohibition with illustrations and poems lifted from Herford's fellow contributors to Puck. The second half takes a breezy look at the nations of the world, each of whom, with the exception of Germany.
