Growth of the Soil

This work, the one for which, in all likelihood, the Nobel prize for literature for 1920 was awarded the author, is based on the theme that all things spring from the soil and is marked by the simple grandeur, the terrible beauty, and the all-embracing dignity that are integral parts of that motif.
