Description

Poppy wakes up one morning to find she has started her periods. She finds the experience puzzling and perplexing — should she confide in her friends or not? Why is she feeling so tired and teary? Why is her tummy bloated? She receives support from her mother and a woman friend Missy who also has a daughter but the adult language they use to describe the female body and the menstrual cycle is awkward and makes Poppy feel uncomfortable, so along with her friends, Poppy decides to create her own cool words.
