The narrator of the book is an amiable dog called Bouncy Bernard. He presents the contents which are colourful and striking representations of well-known military vehicles. There is a tank, a cannon, a rocket launcher, an amphibious vehicle, a fighter plane, a hummer, a motorcycle and sidecar, and a helicopter.
