After discovering inaccuracies in other publications, truly listing one million digits of the Archimedes constant was the main goal of this book. Unlike with some of the competition, here you will find exactly one million digits—not one million and one digits, or one million digits after the decimal separator, or any other bending or breaking of the promise in the title.
On the (usability) side, the digits are numbered (every five hundred digits), to locate them more easily, referring to the last digit on the corresponding line.
