The Girl with Short Hair

A children's book about a girl who has short hair that simply will not grow and how she is trying to fit in. The book is based on the author's daughter who has short anagen syndrome, causing her hair to remain short. The book addresses issues of trying to belong at an early age and how to deal with emotions that arise with being "different" as well as acceptance of yourself and others.
