When Autumn arrives in Carson Falls the town is nothing like she imagined. Filled with drunks, gamblers and dens of sin, it offers little of the promise that made her move west. Stepping out of the train station she finds herself accosted by one of the local ruffians.
Grainger and Blaze have had one desire all their lives: to marry the same woman. When they find the most beautiful woman they've ever seen being pawed at outside the train station, they know they must make her theirs. Knowing that Carson Falls is no place for a young woman, they insist that Autumn will be staying with them at their ranch.
